One of the obvious obstacles to the development of renewable energies is the lack of education and training at the individual and institutional level. An environment with the right conditions is needed for a skilled workforce to develop, technology transfer, networks and markets. Hence the adoption and scale-up of renewable energy requires long-term capacity building strategies integrated into policies and cooperation between all levels of government, business, and education institutions will be a pre-requisite in order to satisfy the demand for new capacities.
